Hi. I'm Lindsey Mackereth, founder of the Superwell Collective and Method Creative.  Professionally trained in fine art, psychotherapy, and gifted integration, I have spent the last decade providing assessment, therapy and coaching for individuals who value creativity and experience the world through a gifted and/or another neurodivergent lens.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the honor of uncovering and refining my clinical power zones of integrating analytical and intuitive mapping to 1) efficiently assess for areas of strength + divergence and 2) bridge the gap between the vertices of divergent brainstorming and pragmatic pruning toward meaningful discernment and action.

I tend to work well with analytical, neurocomplex creatives who are curious about, and highly motivated to dig deep into, their own levels/flavors of creativity, neurocomplexity/giftedness, and neurodivergence and are prepared to apply these areas to increase expansion + depth. My clients have shared appreciation for my ability to collaborate through quick, multi-portal, purposeful discourse, and uncover an individual’s unique areas of divergence as well as gifts and potential for creative expansion.

In 2023, Lindsey coined a new word to use in place of giftedness/twice exceptionality for any fitting circumstance:
Neurocomplexity:  the intersection of neurodivergent wiring that includes increased complexity in the areas  of cognition, sensory receptivity, attention,  creativity, and/or intuition.

Superwell Specialties.

  • Neurocomplexity Coaching + Mentoring. I offer individual support (part coaching, part mentoring) to adults who are encountering a season of curiosity about their neurocomplex wiring and have an inherent desire to deepen their relationships to their inner and outer worlds.  I tend to work well with psychologically-minded, analytical, creative folx (a rare breed of unicorn). My clients have shared appreciation for my ability to collaborate through quick, multi-portal, purposeful discourse, and uncover an individual’s unique areas of divergence as well as gifts and potential for creative expansion.

The nature of my individual client work has evolved to be highly individualized with a focus on 1) neurocomplexity* (commonly labeled as autism, adhd, giftedness, ocd, etc.) integration into self-narrative to more astutely understand one's own needs, desires, + complexity and 2) applying this integration to context (work, relationships, boundaries, etc.) and intention setting.

Primary goal: congruent understanding of self to reduce energy consumption of resistance, masking, intellectualizing, and more.  Secondary outcomes: less mental health distress, improved relationships, increased satisfaction, creativity, and joy in one's lived experience, existential alignment.

Sessions begin as exploratory into areas of divergence (formal assessment(s) upon request) and evolve into collaborative discourse, often around integrity to self. I use the framework of Design Thinking, work from a neurodiversity-affirming paradigm (vs. pathology paradigm), and integrate Jungian, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Existential, Solution-Focused, and Humanistic approaches.

  • Neurodiversity-Inclusive Workplace Consulting for organizations who are committed to the intentional workplace design inclusivity of all neurotypes

  • Neuro-Affirming Adult Autism Assessments (and optional ADHD evaluation) for adults/teens who are verbal and curious about their own masking/neurodivergence in this area and desire a full clinical assessment. Women (or those socialized as female), gifted/NEUROCOMPLEX, trans and BIPOC individuals may have traits of ASD that have been overlooked or misunderstood by the mainstream culture (including mental health), and we have a special interest in serving these populations. We also provide adult autism assessments for male and male-presenting adults and young adults.

Gifted-Specific Trainings + Consultation:

  • Gifted Psychology - Jennifer Harvey Sallin of Intergifted

  • Gifted Profiling Assessment- Jennifer Harvey Sallin and staff of Intergifted

I also hold a strong passion for connecting the often misunderstood, misdiagnosed or dismissed gifted, creative and/or neuordivergent individual with providers who truly embrace and understand the stressors and superpowers that often accompany these unique attributes (cue: Superwell!).
