Gifted-Specific Support

(Individual + Parent Support)

As a former G&T kid, I understand the challenges, and the upside, of being gifted as well as parenting those who are gifted.

I have received training in an undergraduate course that was specific to "The Gifted Child", as well as my own self-study through various Continuing Education classes/workshops over the last 10+ years of practice.

Creative-Specific Support

I am an Art Therapist by training and creativity is always a part of my individual holistic therapy interventions. I have taken many many art/creativity courses in both professional and personal arenas. I have also taken a great number of play therapy courses and expressive therapy courses.

Neurodivergent-Specific Support (other than giftedness)

(Individual + Parent Support)

I am also a fellow ND human who has made it her mission to support and advocate for my ND clients, focusing on education and empowerment of their gifts and abilities. I never stop reading/listening/training/etc in neurodivergence. I am fascinated by our human brains, our bodies, and how they work together to create our own human experience.

Other Areas of Specialization:

  • Trauma

    • Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)- Level 1

    • Current training: Level II Training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

    • Future training: Instinctual Trauma Response Therapeutic Interventions (ITR)

Fun Stuff.

How do your clients describe you?

Fun, sometimes silly, sometimes funny, Creative, "Different" (I personally love this one), Authentic & Real.

What are your favorite books?

Matilda by Roald Dahl; The Lunar Chronicles

What is one of your quirks/special talents?

I am a self-labeled bag lady, always carrying at least two bags with me each day filled with snacks, projects, art materials, random amazingness and things that I "might just need" at some point. I'm like Mary Poppins, but way less organized.

What are your creative outlets?

Any and all things art and craft. I have too many pins to count and my ADHD brain has a hard time with follow through, but I love to create and share art/crafting with others.

What would you do with $10M USD?

Try and do boring adulting stuff first, like pay off debt, invest in something that will provide some future security, and then when all the boring stuff is done, build an insane art studio where I could invite friends/family/community in to practice creativity and collaboration.
